The Kingsley Spelling Bee South Africa just wrapped up its finals, and the winners are off to Botswana in March 2025
Congrats to Thapelo Monyebodi from Dendron Primary, who took the top spot, Matlabo Maite from Raseasala Primary, who secured second place, and Melissa Khosa from Mosebu Primary, who snagged third.
It’s exciting to see these young minds shine in the world of spelling. The Kingsley Spelling Bee South Africa has been promoting language skills among primary and secondary school learners since 2016.
Their annual competition aims to improve learners’ performance in languages, particularly English.
