
These individuals face various charges, including murder, rape, robbery, house breaking, assault, drug dealing, and immigration violations. The arrests were made possible through coordinated efforts by SAPS units, SANDF, departments, and community stakeholders, utilizing tactics like roadblocks, stop-and-search operations, and tracking wanted suspects.
Recovered Items are 4 firearms, 34 ammunition, 1 blasting explosives, 15kg copper cables, 125 counterfeit goods, 19 dangerous weapons, 3 stolen/robbed vehicles, alcohol and drugs: large quantities, including dagga, nyaope, and crystal meth.
Some suspects have already appeared in various Magistrate’s courts across the province. Operation Shanela’s ongoing efforts demonstrate a commitment to combating crime in Limpopo.
