
A joint operation across five districts in Limpopo Province from September 30 to October 6, 2024, resulted in 696 arrests. Police actions included tracing wanted suspects, roadblocks, searches, and compliance inspections.
Arrests were made for murder, assault, rape, burglary, malicious damage, driving under the influence, illegal firearm possession, and drug dealing.
Additionally, 23 unlicensed liquor premises were closed, and police confiscated various items, including firearms, ammunition, and illegal substances.
The suspects will appear in their respective Magistrate’s courts.
Limpopo’s Acting Provincial Commissioner, Major General Samuel Manala, thanked law enforcement and the community for their collective efforts.
