
A brutal attack at Makhushane Tribal office in Namakgale has left one person dead and another injured. On Wednesday, 25 September 2024, at approximately 22:00, police responded to a shooting report. Upon arrival, they found a lifeless 56-year-old male victim with multiple gunshot wounds.
The deceased and other community members were sitting outside a tent when gunshots were heard from the main road. Unknown suspects fired at the community, striking the 56-year-old victim in the upper body and a 53-year-old victim in the thighs. The suspects fled in an unidentified hatchback vehicle.
Major General Samuel Manala, Acting Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo, has ordered a thorough investigation. The police are utilizing available resources to apprehend the suspects.
