
T-Brokk (Thabang Franse Mokoena), a talented South African Hip Hop artist, rapper, storyteller, and poet from Vaalwater, Limpopo, has taken home the coveted Best Contemporary Gospel Artist award at the prestigious Mzansi Arts and Media Awards.
T-Brokk’s inspiring journey, marked by resilience and determination, has earned recognition from industry peers and fans alike. His song “Hustlers Prayer” from the EP “God In Control” has captivated audiences on platforms like TikTok and Spotify.
“I’m overwhelmed with gratitude,” said T-Brokk. “This award is a testament to God’s faithfulness and the unwavering support of my team and fans.”
T-Brokk’s musical journey began in primary school, inspired by local rap talents. He co-founded Mabtown Soljures Family in 2016 and later established Kwena kgolo Records in 2023. Despite living with impaired vision due to glaucoma, T-Brokk defies limitations, believing “DISABILITY IS NOT A FULL STOP.”
His achievements are Finalist for Best Contemporary Gospel Artist at Mzansi Arts and Media Awards, Nominated for Best Hip Hop Gospel at Mpumalanga Hip Hop Music Awards for “Hustlers Prayer”.
