Limpopo’s rising star, Katlego Nkoana, continues to outshine her peers after being crowned Miss Teen Africa South Africa at RH Hotel in Sunnyside, Pretoria.
The 14-year-old Grade 10 learner from Kweledi Secondary School in Praktiseer, Burgersfort, is overjoyed by her latest achievement. She is set to represent South Africa on the global stage in Cairo, Egypt, this April, competing against other African countries.
“It is a feeling I will cherish for the rest of my life. I was confident on stage when answering questions,” said Katlego.
Her journey in beauty pageants began at the age of four, and over the years, she has collected hundreds of titles. Her experience in various competitions prepared her well for this prestigious moment.
“My advice to young models is to stay focused and chase their dreams,” she added.
Her mother, Thembi Nkoana, is proud of her daughter’s accomplishments and is appealing for financial assistance to help fund her trip to Cairo.
“Due to budgetary constraints, we need support to make Katlego’s dream of conquering the world a reality,” she said.
Anyone willing to assist can reach out to the family to help Katlego represent South Africa on the international stage.
