Former President Jacob Zuma is set to meet with Chiefs in Giyani today at the Xilumani hotel, where they’ll have the opportunity to ask him any questions and receive answers.
This meeting comes at a time when Chiefs feel undermined by councillors, who have taken over duties traditionally reserved for them, making them feel useless in their own land.
It’s worth noting that Zuma has a history of engaging with communities in Limpopo, having previously attended events in the province, such as the official opening of the R81 Polokwane to Giyani Road and a service at the Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
