Musina police have launched a manhunt after the body of an unknown man was discovered behind Limpopo Truck Park near Beitbridge Port of Entry on the morning of Monday, 30 June 2025.
Police responded to the scene at around 08:00 and found the lifeless body of an African male with multiple gunshot wounds to the head. A bullet projectile was also recovered at the scene. The motive behind the murder remains unclear, and the suspects are still on the run.
The deceased was wearing white All Star sneakers, blue jeans, a black Hemisphere tracksuit top, an RJ brown belt, and a black Uzzi sporty cap found next to the body.
Although his identity has not yet been confirmed, police believe the victim may be a Zimbabwean national, estimated to be between 35 and 40 years old.
Authorities are appealing to the public to help identify the deceased or provide any information that could lead to the arrest of those responsible.
