Agreement Mkhari 
A man identified as Singo Tshifhiwa was brutally killed in a mob justice attack at Lwamondo, Tshalovha village, outside Thohoyandou.
According to police reports, officers were alerted to the incident and rushed to the scene, where they found Tshifhiwa’s burned body lying naked on the street. The mob had already dispersed.
Preliminary investigations indicate that Tshifhiwa, estimated to be in his mid-thirties, was allegedly caught inside a one-roomed house attempting to rape an elderly woman. The victim screamed for help, drawing community members who reportedly found him naked, dragged him outside, and set him alight.
A manhunt is underway for those involved. Police urge anyone with information to contact Sergeant Randzu Mabedle at 079 849 6309.
