Tragedy struck the quiet village of Majeje Benfarm in Phalaborwa yesterday morning when a 35-year-old man was found dead in his home. He, who lived near Mashabela Primary School, is believed to have taken his own life by hanging himself in his sitting room.
A handwritten note was found at the scene, addressed to his wife. In the message, he urged her to take care of herself and their children. The circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear, and his family and community members have been left devastated by the loss.
Local authorities have launched an investigation into the incident. Meanwhile, community leaders and counselors are urging residents to reach out for help if they are struggling with emotional or mental health issues.
