Agreement Mkhari 
Thohoyandou police have launched a manhunt following a mob justice incident that occurred in Mangondi village, Venda, on Saturday, 29 March 2025, at around 09:10.
Authorities were alerted to the scene, where they found an unidentified African male lying on the road with severe bruises and bleeding wounds. Community members were present at the scene.
Emergency Medical Services were called, and the victim was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The identity of the deceased remains unknown. Police urge anyone with information regarding the incident or the victim’s identity to contact Investigating Officer Sergeant Shudufhadzo Shivhga at 061 401 8710 or 072 424 6288.
