
Two suspects, Munyai Roshidzwa Vhutshilo, 25, and Nekhubvi Muano, 21, have been remanded in custody for further investigation into the murder of Provincial Inspector Patrick Mbulaheni Netshidzivhani, 56.
The inspector, attached to Mutale Traffic Station, was reported missing on 11 January 2025, after failing to return from his routine fitness exercises at Khunguni mountain.
A search was launched, and the inspector’s vehicle was found, leading to the arrest of the two suspects. They appeared in court on 16 January 2025, and are facing murder charges.
The case has been postponed until 3 March 2025, to allow for further investigations. This is a developing story, and we will provide updates as more information becomes available.
