Daniel Dan Lubisi, an alleged hitman, is facing charges in two separate murder cases and has been appearing in different courts for the proceedings. Lubisi is accused of murdering a soldier in Kurhula Village, Lulekani, around May this year. He is also linked to the murder of Makhuva businessman, Masocha July Mkhavele.
On 3 December 2025, Lubisi appeared at the Lulekani Magistrate’s Court alongside his three co-accused, Grace Nomthandaza Mazibuko, Sam Masangu and Amos Bvuma, for the case involving the murdered soldier.
Today, 5 December 2025, he appeared again, this time in the Giyani Magistrate’s Court, for the murder of businessman July Mkhavele. The matter was postponed to 18 December 2025.
Lubisi is scheduled to return to the Lulekani Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 8 December 2025, for further proceedings related to the Kurhula soldier murder case.
