Agreement Mkhari 
On Thursday, 2 October 2025, at approximately 23:30, an eight-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted in Mohlele Village. The incident occurred in a one-roomed house where the child was left asleep alone with the door locked. According to reports, a suspect known to the victim forced open a window, entered the home, undressed, and raped the child. He then threatened her not to tell her mother.
Upon returning home, the child’s mother was informed of the incident by the victim and immediately reported it to the police. The case has been handed over to the Tzaneen Family Violence, Child Protection, and Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit for further investigation. Despite efforts, the suspect remains at large.
