Agreement Mkhari 
The Burgersfort Regional Court has handed down a life imprisonment sentence to 47-year-old Boinyana Andries Manokwane for raping a 10-year-old girl in Mooihoek village, Sekhukhune district.
According to the court, on November 29, 2020, Manokwane lured the victim and her two friends to a secluded area with R20, where he brutally raped the 10-year-old and attempted to rape the other two minors. However, his actions were interrupted by a community member who alerted others, leading to his capture.
Through tireless detective work, Sergeant Mahlatse Mangoale built a watertight case, ensuring justice was served.
Manokwane had since made numerous court appearances before being granted R1,500 bail on January 11, 2021.
